Our client, a reputed name in the oil & gas construction sector, seeks to recruit a
Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will be Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years working experience of which at least 3 years should have been at a managerial level within an oil, gas, power & water industry. Good knowledge of material management and exposure to SAP is a must. The key responsibilities of the jobholder will be to plan, direct, co-ordinate & review the work plan for the purchasing department; continuously monitor & evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement personnel; ensure that all procurement meets legal and professional standards by enforcing pertinent codes, policies and regulations and professional ethics regarding purchasing operations; conduct a variety of organizational studies, investigations & operational studies and recommend modification to purchasing programs, policies & procedures as appropriate.
Salary: Dhs. 15,000/- to 20,000/- + company accommodation + company vehicle/transportation allowance + paid annual leave with air tickets for self & family + medical & life insurance.
This position is based in Abu Dhabi.
